What is SuperPay and how does it work?

SuperPay is a smart credit card optimization platform that helps you earn the most rewards on every purchase. Simply add your credit cards, and our recommendation engine analyzes reward rates, category bonuses, and your financial goals to tell you exactly which card to use at every merchant—so you never leave money on the table.

Is SuperPay free to use?

Yes! SuperPay offers a free plan that includes core card recommendations, manual card entry, and basic spending insights. You can start optimizing your rewards immediately without paying a thing.

What's the difference between Free and Pro?

The Free plan covers essential card recommendations, manual card management, and up to 2 bank connections with one-time transaction analysis. SuperPay Pro unlocks unlimited bank connections with continuous sync, the 24-month missed value analysis, AI-powered merchant categorization, the browser extension, and priority support.

How do I create an account?

Download the SuperPay app and tap "Sign Up." You can create an account with your email address in under a minute. Once registered, you can immediately start adding your credit cards and receiving personalized recommendations.

Security & Privacy

Does SuperPay store my full credit card number?

No. SuperPay only stores the last 4 digits of your card number for identification purposes. We never store, transmit, or have access to full card numbers, CVVs, PINs, or expiration dates. Your financial security is our top priority.

Does SuperPay process payments or transfer money?

No. SuperPay is strictly a recommendation platform. We help you decide which card to use for each purchase, but we never process payments, hold funds, or move money on your behalf. All transactions happen directly through your card issuer.

How is my data protected?

We use industry-standard encryption for all data in transit and at rest. Bank connections are secured through Plaid, a trusted third-party provider used by thousands of financial apps. We follow strict data minimization practices and never sell your personal information to third parties.

Can I export or delete my data?

Absolutely. You can export a complete copy of your data at any time from Settings > Export Data, including your cards, transactions, and goals. To delete your account and all associated data permanently, go to Settings > Delete Account. Both options are available in compliance with GDPR and CCPA regulations.

How does the card recommendation engine work?

Our optimization engine evaluates each of your cards' reward structures—including base rates, category multipliers, rotating bonuses, and spending caps—against the merchant you're shopping at. It factors in your active financial goals to surface the single best card for maximum rewards on every purchase.

What are financial goals and how do they affect recommendations?

Financial goals let you tell SuperPay what matters most to you, whether that's maximizing cash back, earning travel points, building credit, maintaining balanced utilization, or staying budget-conscious. Your active goals directly influence the recommendation engine, ensuring every suggestion aligns with your personal financial strategy.

How does the browser extension work?

The SuperPay browser extension automatically detects when you're checking out at an online retailer and displays a real-time recommendation for the best card to use. It works seamlessly in the background so you never miss out on rewards while shopping online. Available for Pro subscribers on Chrome-based browsers.

What is the 24-month missed value analysis?

The missed value analysis reviews your past 24 months of transaction history and calculates exactly how many rewards you left on the table by not using the optimal card. It gives you a clear, dollar-amount picture of the value SuperPay can help you recapture going forward.

How does AI-powered merchant categorization work?

SuperPay uses artificial intelligence to accurately identify and categorize merchants from your transaction data, even when merchant names are abbreviated or unclear. This ensures your card recommendations are always matched to the correct reward category, maximizing your earnings on every purchase.

Account & Billing

How do I upgrade to Pro?

You can upgrade to SuperPay Pro directly within the app. Go to Settings and tap "Upgrade to Pro," or look for the upgrade prompt on the home screen. Pro unlocks advanced analytics, bank syncing, the browser extension, and more.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time through your device's subscription management settings (App Store or Google Play). Your Pro features will remain active until the end of your current billing period. No cancellation fees apply.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings and tap "Delete Account." This will permanently and irreversibly erase all of your data, including cards, transactions, goals, and personal information. If you have an active Pro subscription, please cancel it first through your device's subscription settings.

Troubleshooting

The app isn't giving me recommendations. What do I do?

Make sure you have at least one credit card added to your account with its reward categories configured. Recommendations require both a card and a merchant or spending category to compare against. If you've added cards and still aren't seeing suggestions, try logging out and back in, or contact our support team for assistance.

I linked my bank but my cards aren't showing. What should I do?

Bank-linked card syncing may take a few moments to process. If your cards don't appear after a couple of minutes, try unlinking and re-linking your bank account from Settings. If the issue persists, reach out to help@superpayrewards.com and our team will get it sorted for you.
